I.Take the place of alumina and hydrate of aluminum and consume less soda
|
|

As this lithium chinastone contains extremely low iron,little other harmful components and considerable amount of useful contents
such as SiO2,Al2O3,Li2O,K2O and Na2O,it can take the place of alumina,hydrate of aluminum and powdered feldspar,consume less soda,
and cut down the costs or raw batches.

II.Promote the melting rate or lower the melting temperature and prolong the service life of kiln用寿命

This lithium chinastone takes in not only K2O and Na2O,but also a little Li2O and F ion.As the inert gas ion.liion forms the
asymmetric center in structure under the high temperature,polarizes the oxygen ion and relieve and destroy the silicon-oxygen
bond(O/Si).Thus the Li2O led in the lithium chinastone may function for the combustion in high temperature and speed up the melting of
the glass.In addition,it is well known that base metal in the glass can promote its melting,and the“mixed soda effect” resulted from the
two kinds of base metal oxides in the glass will have the better fluxibility compared with the single natron.The fluorine led in the lithium is a
kind of glass accelerator that will quicken the reaction of glass,reduce the viscosity and surface tensile of the glass,promote the clarification
and homogenization of the glass liquid,and improve the heat transmission.Therefore,taking the lithium chinastone as the raw material of the
glass and adding in about 0.1-0.2% of Li2O and 0.1-0.2% of fluorine may drop the melting temperature of glass by 25-50℃,and increase
the output of glass by at least 10%.

III.Promote the brightness and whiteness of the product,and improve its physical and chemical
characteristics

The lithium glass has introduces 0.1-0.2%of Li2O into the glass.It is demonstrated by many tests and technical documents both
at home and abroad that it is possible to improve the water resistance of the glass by a little Li2O instead of Na2O,for Li has the
smaller ion radius and greater electric-field strength that may enhance the glass network,reduce its expansion coefficient and
lessen its trend of crystallization.Besides,the“mixed soda effect”helps the glass to have its water resistance better than that
of the single base metal oxide.Therefore,it is useful to improve the color,brightness,shock resistance and water resistance of the
product with suitable amount of lithium chinastone led in the glass.
